Random Offense

Random Offense

I  put you on ice
So that
Not I
But you survive

So  that you never become
The lie that you were
An immature pirate of hearts a mere buccaneer
I wanted you
That much my dear.

You put me on hold
As if I were
A trinket  to hoard
In a treasure chest of random stolen gold
Your secret inconsequential loot your gluttonous stashed wealth
So I  deserted your leaky ship of shallow dreams by stealth

Loving You nevertheless
Leaving you for always....

Allowing for all your bold thoughtlessness
May grace attend your graceless ways
My unfortunate loveless
Lover.

If I have been too harsh and yes I am aware
That I care so much I'm bitter
Be that better person whose seed in you I  see
Forgiven my darling.
Forever forgive me.
