Heaven Came

My acknowledgement to Akan Udofia for the statement "It's okay to be afraid. But it's not okay to be a coward. "
Thank you for inspiring some lines in this poem. :)

Heaven Came.

Dreams choose us
Decide who we are
And we will be
our dream

Someday.

And one day life
Will reach the exit door
To a dream
World

Which we will enter
Dreaming

Entering our eternal dreaming state
Become your dream
Beckoning
You to become
A dream.

You
At our beck and call.
We
The dream.

Now
We're alive.

Smiling our happy moments
storing rainbows
After showers

Saved from Life's afternoons
for muskrat evenings.

Weeping deep wells inside
delving hollow dreams
Like slender fallow flutes
Piping our pathos
Poignant memories

Healing wounds
That wealed once
Scrapping off clumsy scabs
Fresh pink skin
Like flowers blossoming.

And then we're old older
Grey with silent wisdom
Accepting all gracefully.

That gravity weighs us
And weighs us down
To our reckonings.

A compression of
Myriad experience turned to
Heavy and heavenly memories.

Bones creak and broken hearts repair ribs quiet and quick
with borrowed brilliance
Snatched from the sun
Snared easy by
Masters of the game...
Of trust.

Acquiring a causal nonchalance
We acquit ourselves effectively
Balancing ledger sheets of lives
With lithe equanimity.

No one has seen
Heaven
Till he has
Adequately
Responded and raised
his respective Hell.

Till he has taken time
to make his leap of
Faith tackled
Free falling
faster and harder than
Dying
Into a nothingness
mouth sinking with gravity
through heart's leaden floor ground gone gravelly under craven feet
Graves of uncertainties gaping
Their maws
at the
Momentous Plunge.

Cowardice is tackier than blind faith.
Though its okay to be afraid.

And that's when
He stops falling
Starts flying
In mortal sleep
turned angel
Flouting fallibility
challenging dark spectral demons with
astral phalanges of light.
Bold strokes of unconventional
Creation
Stark and uncontainable
Like unpredictable lightning strikes
Life
Feisty fiery
Fantastic
Crackling Arcs
In the sky
Defiant vibrant to reach
Heaven
Alive.

That
Instant
We have invoked
Our Heaven
Reached
It
Invited it to
Reach us.

Living heaven
In our brave hearts
With no bravado game enough
For any game.

And Thus
This
Dreaming
Life
gets over
Goes over
to willing mergers
With wondrous welcoming
Wilderness
Infinite
Probabilities.
