Mars and Venus in Dialog (Slop Challenge)

Mars and Venus in Dialog

Soft lady eternal light
Evening and morn's delight
Cover girl of the sky
Visit me in the night
Spake mars
reddening slightly
His fiery temperament not to be taken lightly
Venus twinkled brightly
Her dimples collating
Cheeks in acquiescence.

Love was made and Mars ruled over this tender maid
And she bowed a limbre linden tree
Obeyed him stooped willingly.

Mars and Venus tempestuous pair
one so airy the other fire
Heavens set alight by  them
The whole  world wonderstruck
To witness came.

Venus silver beauty
Lilting her sonorous melody
Tired  of the drumbeat pulse of restless Mars
her dreams driven upon the  hearse
Of  his decisive scythe..

rich vaporous clouds of  auburn mane
shorn of locks of power was her dreadful bane
So she abhorred his resistance
To  bend  and gallantly dance  attendance

Why won't she realize that Mars must be
Decided action not musical glee
Oh why can't  Mars decipher that
Even thorough most warrior must learn to flee
Hatred and Thanatos, twin  thralls of war
Eros was the seed of the rising star
If love needs must be
Mars my hero I discard thee

Search everywhere and everything
A truer pairing there never has been

Love and War and everything in between
In all fairness both must be..

A Mars may  fight to defend his lady fair
The  spoils of war that every Venus bears
The glory of a love that guards her heart
Tenderness and strength in equal parts.
It takes strong heart to make love true.
Truth can be kind and tender too.

Thus Mars and Venus made their peace
And resolved to aim for eternal bliss
And if each of us relive their act
We can rediscover their immortal  pact.
